Seattle Style

Hi all,

Look at me catching up on my blogging! :)

Meet Melissa & Steven…  I just loved working with these two as well as  Melissa’s mom..  Love when awesome moms are on board with the wedding plans!

Melissa and Steven both have a keen eye for design. They loved the fall colors and bright greens mixed with deep eggplant for their palette. Their love for Seattle inspired the photo locations, urban venue, salted caramel favors & stationary as well.

Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Holy Names Academy Chapel and their  reception, at the trendy Hotel 1000.  One of my favorite downtown Seattle hotels!  They brought the woodland glamour indoors with lots of texture and outdoor elements.  The linens were subtle yet added dimension to the table. (Thanks Choice Linens!)  The tall lichen branches mixed with mokara orchids perfectly paired with the chic hotel vibe and  Glassybabys added that perfect glow to the outdoor terrace space where dancing took place. Speaking of dancing, we had the pleasure of working with Ollie & Jered from GenxPro (DJ) again! As always, they did a fantastic job.

Big thumbs up to all of the vendors on this wedding.  It was a great team! Thanks to Kristen Honeycutt Photo Co for all of the fabulous photos (and being so fun to work with!)

The first image is one of my all time favs! So classic.

Port Gamble Wedding

Meet Britta & Erik…

I love small town weddings. They are traditional, casual and simple in all the right ways. Britta & Erik got married at St. Paul’s church in Port Gamble then hosted a fantastic reception at Kitsap Memorial State Park.  This park/wedding venue is one of my favorite hidden gems in the Seattle area.  Not many people know about it and you can have a beautiful waterfront wedding for a fraction of the cost of most other waterfront venues.

The reception was filled with BBQ salmon, lots of dancing (thanks to GenXPro), and more desserts than could possible be consumed. Spady’s BBQ did a fantastic job and their staff was so great to work with.  The Sweet Side provided the beautiful spread of desserts.

Big thanks to RedBox Pictures for all of the lovely shots!  We love working with you guys!

Enjoy…

Roche Harbor Wedding in Black & White

Hi all,

Rachel and Rob got married at Roche Harbor last September.  Roche Harbor is a special place for them and their families as Rachel and her family have been spending summers up there for most of her life.  So when the time came for them to get married, it was an easy choice. I love it when there is a personal connection to the wedding venue…makes the celebration that much sweeter!

The color palette was Black, White and Tiffany Blue, with lots of bling of course…and not a detail was missed.

Big thanks to Ryan Flynn Photography for capturing such a wonderful day.  Another big thanks to Roche Harbor Weddings for all of their hard work and support in making this day unforgettable.

Oh, and if you haven’t been up to Roche Harbor and you are looking for an amazing venue…defiantly check it out!  One of our favorites!

Royal Garden Soiree

Hi all,

Meet Mason & Emily…these two were just so incredibly great to work with!  Their wedding had so many special touches and as you can see from the photos, the flowers were absolutely divine.  Mason proposed to Emily in Paris, so they wanted to have a little bit of Paris/France  reflected in the desserts and throughout the decor.

The August wedding was held at the always beautiful Golf Club at Newcastle and Rented Elegance is the vendor behind the amazing floral and decor.  Thanks to Maxine Toh Photography for the photos and putting together a wonderful blog post about this spectacular day.

Another big thank you to a vendor that went above and beyond is Lydia Wetmore from G2 Salon.  Lydia is the stylist that helped Emily in and out of 4 wedding dresses/looks and multiple hair style changes throughout the day.  We highly recommend Lydia for all of your wedding hair styling needs!

Enjoy…
