Nikki & Tristan

Nikki and Tristan’s wedding was held at the beautiful DeLille Cellars in Woodinville on a perfect sunny July afternoon.  Their Hot Pink and Orange color palette went well with the warm summer day.

Their wedding was a great example of how to use lighting to transform a space throughout the event.  Everyone sat under the tent with an elegant pink hue for dinner but as soon as the sun went down the tent was filled with hot pink light.  It was perfect for the dancing/after dinner ambiance. Lighting was provided by Hardcastle Entertainment.

Big thanks to Cameron Catering for the delicious food and Kristen Honeycutt Photo Co. for the fabulous photos!

Karin & Ryan

Seeing as we are going into fall/winter I wanted to showcase some of our amazing winter weddings from last fall/winter wedding season.

Meet Karin and Ryan:

Sweet. Relaxed. Fun. Loving.

Their wedding was held the weekend after Thanksgiving last year to accommodate all of the friends and family that would be traveling to attend this wedding.  Luckily even in late November they were able to go out and get some fun outdoor shots before the sun went down.

I love winter weddings for the long dresses, candlelight and warm elegance a wedding brings to the already festive time of year.  Here are some of my favorite photos from this beautiful wedding day.

Thank you to Kristen Honeycut Photo Co. for these!  You can see her full blog post here.

Jenn & Isaac ~ Suncadia Resort Wedding

I want to start this post by saying I loved every facet of this wedding!  When Jenn called me from NYC for a consultation we instantly clicked! [Love that]  She was in the middle of planning her wedding at Suncadia all while finishing up the last stretch of medical school.  Things got a little crazy planning from so far away so she decided to look into hiring a planner.  I am so thankful that Jenn and Isaac ended up choosing me to be a part of their special day.

Now, on to gushing about Suncadia–this has quickly become one of my favorite wedding venues to work at.  I love that this is an easy getaway for a destination wedding.  All of the guests feel like they are on vacation and it is just a 90 min drive from Seattle.
Oh yeah, and the photo opportunities are ENDLESS!

Kristen Honeycutt Photographer outdid herself on this wedding.  GORGEOUS.  Just see for yourself…

Ladies, check out Jenn’s bustle (above.)  The most popular bustle is the Traditional or the French.  Jenn choose a Side bustle.  I have never seen a bride try this one out–it was beautiful.

“I was so happy on my wedding day and that was because of you guys! I didn’t worry about a thing and just enjoyed myself and everything that was going on!  I’m seriously coming to near tears just writing this and thinking about all that you guys did for me on my wedding day and how you made it so perfect. The only thing I would have done different is that I wish I would have hired you sooner.” Jenn, Bride (07.03.10)
