Emma & Jack’s wedding was full of Jewish tradition and elegance, making the Four Seasons Seattle the perfect setting for this classic winter wedding. A wonderful Kosher caterer, Epic Bites, came all the way from San Francisco to cater this event. Isaac and his team did such a phenomenal job with all of the food and beverage.
We went from the Tisch, to the Bedeken, to the Ketubah signing to the beautiful ceremony under the Chuppah. Then of course dinner and LOTS of dancing to follow. Their wedding fell on a Seattle Seahawks Sunday, so the 12th man flag made an appearance during the hora dances after their win.
Big thanks to:

How well did Chris and Olivia luck out for a winter wedding in Seattle? They had such beautiful weather! Their wedding was all about the blush tones as well as showcasing Seattle and the glamour of the Pacific Northwest. The Edgewater Hotel really was the perfect venue for them.
I met these two at the Seattle Wedding Show and we started planning shortly after. I just loved working with them on their wedding and miss our early morning coffee planning meetings at Panera.
Of course a big thanks to the following vendors for making their big day happen so smoothly:

Meet Mary & Monica.
Two of the sweetest gals you will ever come across. Clients like this make my job so fulfilling. Words can’t describe the emotions felt by all in attendance on December 9, 2012 at 12:01am.
Now, let me share the back story leading up to their wedding day…
When I first met Mary & Monica, they had chosen the day of December 8 to celebrate their life long commitment to each other because they liked winter and it fit with work schedules. Planning was well under way for a gorgeous wedding with a guest list that was close to 200 people. As time passed, Ref 74 was put on to the November ballot. It occurred to everyone that if it passed, they would actually be able to be legally married in the state of Washington. Well guess what? Washington voters passed Ref 74 in November. Following the victory of Ref 74, they announced that the first legal day to be married was going to be December 9, 2012. What perfect timing!?! When they announced this, I got goosebumps.
Wedding plans were being wrapped up by this point, and invitations had already been sent out for the ceremony and reception on Dec 8. They decided that they would host their 5pm ceremony and reception according to plan; however they would add a second wedding ceremony to be held at 12:01am, December 9, where they could have a legal ceremony.
After the first ceremony they went on to enjoying a beautiful dinner, toasts, and Bamboo Beats kept the dancefloor packed throughout the entire night. One of the more special moments was watching Mary and Monica dance to “Same Love” by Macklemore. Brandy (my assistant) and I even made a run to Dicks Burgers to pick up 150 cheeseburgers as a late night snack for everyone. As the midnight hour approached we started prepping for the second ceremony. News crews and reporters were there to capture this special moment. A perfectly timed procession and ceremony was preformed by Annemarie Juhlian at exactly 12:01am December 9. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the venue.
I can’t thank the vendors on this wedding enough. We had such a fantastic team and everyone went above and beyond.
The incredible photographer, Jenny GG captured the day so perfectly. She put a photo of Mary and Monica on facebook the next day and within 24 hours I think there were over 5,000 likes. It was pretty awesome to see the support.
Special thanks to the Seattle Yacht Club for everything they did to make this day perfect. It has always been one of my favorite venues to work at, so it was extra special that this wedding was held there.
Final thanks to the rest of the vendors that made this day possible:

On news stands soon…here is a sneak peek!
“Live on and be yourself” – Macklemore
Erin and Jason’s wedding was held on a crisp February afternoon at the Seattle Church of Christ on the top of Queen Anne. This is a beautiful church that is extremely flexible with their space rental AND you can bring in your own pastor/officiant. Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a church to get married at in Seattle!
Their wedding and reception was filled with warm lighting and candlelight. Erin and Jason wanted the base of their color palette to be Ivory and Chocolate Brown with accenting of pea Green. It was perfect for the time of year.
They had extra fun touches like the WSU ice sculpture by Creative Ice and the ever popular Dicks Drive-In Burgers were served as late night snacks. Needless to say the guests dancing the night away were pretty excited when those burgers came through the door on silver platters.
Thank you to the awesome and talented Tasha Owen for the wonderful photography. She is so fun to work with!
Erin and Jason — it was such a pleasure working with you both!!
Enjoy the photos and be sure to check out Erin’s wonderful wedding dress from La Belle Reve..
