Welcome to the FAQ page of planning a destination wedding with me. I have been planning weddings for 10 years now. I started planning local weddings in Seattle, WA where Lindeman Weddings and Events is based. Now I plan weddings all over the world. Being an international wedding planner coupled with my travel agent credentials has helped me plan weddings for clients more easily and cost effectively in fun and exciting places all over the world.


WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER A DESTINATION WEDDING?: I specialize in planning destination weddings. What I consider a destination wedding is a where a group of people travel to any destination for a wedding. From 90 miles to 5,000 miles.

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?: Depends on the time of year and my travel schedule. I am generally based in Europe planning weddings through the summers in France, Greece and Italy. In the fall/winter months I work mostly in sunny locales such as Mexico, Hawaii, etc. All planning proposals will be all inclusive of any travel fees based on location and time of year.

CONSULTATIONS + COMMUNICATION?: Consultations are always free. I am accepting clients for 2017 + 2018 and I am always available for a consultation via phone, skype or in person if we are in the same town! Most of my clients live in a different part of the world than I do but we do all of our planning meetings via skype, phone and correspondence via email of course.

I am currently working with clients and vendors from Hong Kong to Hawaii so I am flexible working with busy professionals in all time zones.

CUSTOM PROPOSAL: By the time a client comes to me, they generally have an idea of where in the world they would like to get married in. If not, that is ok too. I can help narrow down the selection if that is what is needed. I can also help determine if a destination wedding is something that will work for your group.

After a consultation and learning more about your wedding ideas, location ideas and scope of your event, I will have a custom proposal sent out to you within 24 hours.

CAN YOU HELP WITH DESIGN?: Absolutely! I help design and find resources for most of the weddings I plan. Sometimes finding chandeliers to hang from palm trees is a must, and I need to make sure that happens! For some clients on a budget, I even gone so far as locally sourcing flowers from a farmer and put together the centerpieces for the reception.

ON SITE COORDINATION?: 90% of my clients choose to have me travel to the wedding to coordinate the wedding, tours, and surrounding events. I act as a travel concierge to you and your guests as well as be there to coordinate the wedding. There can be lots of moving parts that are associated with a destination wedding beyond the actual wedding and I can be on location to manage it all.

For the other 10% of my clients who don't need me to go on site to coordinate the wedding. I charge a small fee to book them all of the group accommodations, obtain any group flight discount codes and get them started with their wedding website and wedding contracts. From there they take on the rest of planning and can always contact me if they need any further help.

WHAT IF I WANT TO ELOPE, AM ON A SMALL BUDGET OR DON’T NEED HELP ON SITE?: No worries. I have planned many weddings where I just book the wedding venue, hotel rooms and get you started on the right path to planning your own destination wedding. I charge a small service fee for this but do not go on site for your wedding. This has worked great for elopements and smaller weddings. And yes, you can still keep me on retainer for running questions by me via email!

DO YOU PLAN EVENTS & TOURS THAT SURROUND THE WEDDING DAY?: Yes! As most of the destination weddings I do range between 2-6 days, clients want their guests to have the option of tours and fun ways to experience the local surroundings. Most of my clients also like to host some sort of a welcome dinner and morning after the wedding brunch for their guests to attend as well. Mostly, I want to make sure my clients and their friends & families enjoy a celebration of a life time without having to worry about the often time consuming details of research/travel/wedding logistics.

WHERE DO YOU PLAN WEDDINGS? I am always up for a new destination, but I have extensive knowledge in planning weddings in many popular wedding destinations such as Hawaii, Paris, French countryside chateaus, Santorini, Mykonos, Milos, Cabo San Lucas, Jamaica, Rome, Tuscany, Sorrento, Positano, Cinque Terre, Capri, and of course Seattle & name a few destinations.

PARIS & EUROPE WEDDING PLANNING In the spring and summer months, I am based in Europe planning weddings in Paris, Greek islands, Italy and beyond.


(less than 10 guests) This service is to help brides & grooms planning from afar get married in the city of love with little effort and peice of mind. I am here to coordinate ceremony, reception and supporting vendors to ensure that your elopement is as romantic and intimate as possible. Wedding day coordination is included in this package.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Planning

This service is designed to help brides and grooms get married in France, Italy, Greece and beyond. This is a full service approach to wedding planning for an intimate or extravagant soiree anywhere in Europe. After an initial consultation we start looking for the perfect venue. From there I work with you on securing supporting vendors, design invitations, secure travel arrangements & accommodations as well as manage all the little details. This service also includes wedding day rehearsal and wedding day coordination services.

Travel Coordination Assistance

In addition to my wedding planning company, we are also recognized as an IATA certified travel agency. Being a travel agent and wedding planner allows me to plan your wedding and travel arrangements as smoothly and as cost effectively as possible.



I started my company 10 years ago serving the Seattle wedding market and eventually branched out from there. We have coordinated hundreds of weddings all around Seattle and the Pacific Northwest region, as well as Hawaii, Mexico, California, Oregon, Maine and beyond!

Level 1: Day of Coordination

Let us put your hard work and planning into action. We will be more than happy to guide you along the planning journey and answer any questions you may have. We will wrap up the details, offer suggestions and ensure that all of your vendors are on the same page before the big day. We will be there to offer direction to your rehearsal and of course be there to coordinate your perfect wedding day exactly as you planned it!

Level 2: Accompanied Planning Service

This service is specifically tailored for the bride and groom who love the idea of planning their wedding; they just need assistance with making their vision to come to life. We will listen to your vision, help put the correct vendors in place to ensure that your day is exactly how you imagined and still within your budget. We become your partner in planning, wrap up the details and direct your rehearsal as well as ensure a flawless wedding day.

Level 3: Full Service Wedding Planning

This service is catered to the bride and groom that would like us to assist them with ALL of the little details. From start to finish we ensure that no detail is overlooked. We are at your service and want you to be as involved or uninvolved as you like. We will be there for your initial vendor meetings and ask all of the right questions on your behalf. We will help develop the vision you have for your wedding, placing all of the correct vendors in place to get the job done…and if you don’t have a vision, let us help you create one. This Level of Service ensures you the most flawlessly executed wedding day.
