Theresa & Kyle’s wedding was held at the warm and cozy Willows Lodge in Woodinville.  I love this space for a smaller wedding any time of year.

Theresa & Kyle were a terrific couple to work and I loved their dog, Watson.  I was so honored to be a part of their wedding day.  They had an outdoor ceremony followed by a reception that was held in the Willow’s ballroom.  Cocktails, great food, lots of dancing a fabulous photobooth and a power outage made for an eventful wedding day!

Big thanks to the DJs over at GenXPro for the awesome up-lighting and packed dance floor!  You guys are always a delight to work with.

So I get to take a break at almost every wedding I am a part is 10 minutes (if that) where I get to take a breather from my 12+ hour wedding/work day to rest my feet and take in the amazing cuisine prepared.  I can probably wolf down a fillet mignon faster than the average person but it is worth it!  Willows Lodge is at the top of the list with one of the most amazing spreads prepared for a wedding.  They can do no wrong but the beef medallions are a must have if you are going that route with your menu!!!

Ok, back to the wedding and their flavorful decor.  I appropriately named this wedding [on my website] Ocean and Amber because it draws inspiration from the magazine spread I put together for Seattle Bride Magazine’s Unveiled section last Spring.  This color palette of Teal Blue and Orange mixed with the Northwest flare of Willows Lodge was the perfect combination for a festively chic September wedding.

It was a pleasure working along side of Jenny GG Photography & team for this wedding.  Photos were great and the photo booth was rockin’! Here are a few photos she took that day:

How cute is this favor/placecard idea?  You can find them at Paper Acorn.

Even their pup, Watson participated in the festivities! :)

Here is the spread in Seattle Bride Magazine–see the comparison?
